(사)한국창업지도사협회(협회장 황보윤)는 지난 12월 10일, 대만 최대 비즈니스 센터와 공유 오피스 운영 업체인 GTB(Global Town Business Center)와 포괄적 업무 협약을 타이베이시 인근 린커우 스타트업 테라스에서 체결하였다고 밝혔다.
GTB(Global Town Business Center)는 타이베이, 가오슝을 비롯해 대만 15개 도시에 직영센터를 운영중이며, GTB가 운영하는 스타트업 테라스는 대만 정부가 추진하는 ‘아시아·실리콘밸리 프로젝트’의 일환으로 조성된 AI 및 IoT 중심의 스타트업 단지이다.
금번 협약의 주요 내용은 한국 스타트업의 대만 진출과 대만 스타트업의 한국 진출을 상호 지원하며, 한국창업지도사협회가 추천하는 한국 스타트업들이 대만에 진출하고자 할 때에는 스타트업 테라스 린커우 코워킹 스페이스를 6개월 동안 무료로 사용할 수 있도록 하는 것 등이다.
GTB와의 포괄적 업무 협약을 이끌어 낸 (사)한국창업지도사협회 김진성 글로벌 본부 대표는 ”2026년 1월부터 대만으로 진출하고자 하는 한국 스타트업들을 대상으로 설명회 및 모집과 특별 멘토링을 시행하여, 스타트업들의 글로벌 오픈 이노베이션 역량을 높이도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다.” 라고 소감을 밝혔다.
GTB (Global Town Business Center) operates direct centers in 15 cities in Taiwan, including Taipei and Kaohsiung, and Startup Terrace, operated by GTB, is an AI and IoT-focused startup complex created as part of the Taiwanese government's "Asia Silicon Valley Project." The main contents of this agreement include mutual support for Korean startups entering Taiwan and Taiwanese startups entering Korea, and for Korean startups recommended by the Korea Entrepreneurship Co-op Association seeking to enter Taiwan to use the Startup Terrace Linkou co-working space free of charge for six months. Kim Jin-seong, head of the Global Headquarters of the Korea Startup Guidance Association, which led to the comprehensive business agreement with GTB, said, “Starting in January 2026, we will continue to support Korean startups seeking to expand into Taiwan by holding briefing sessions, recruiting, and providing special mentoring to enhance their global open innovation capabilities.”
